Job Location: Remote
Job Salary: $150k-$200k (DOE)
Requirements: 7+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience
Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Sr. Tax Manager to oversee our tax planning and compliance processes. This role is essential in ensuring our organization meets all tax obligations while optimizing our tax strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management and a CPA certification, along with experience in preparing individual tax returns (1040's) as a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage all aspects of tax planning and compliance for the organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on tax-related matters.
- Review and manage the preparation of individual tax returns (1040's) as needed.
- Stay updated on current tax regulations and changes in tax law.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support decision-making.
- Lead and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role in tax management.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Experience with individual tax returns (1040's) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
