RN Detox Administrator Job Description Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead our Medically Monitored Detox Program. This managerial role is essential in ensuring safe, high-quality care for individuals undergoing detoxification and supporting the Detox team of professionals.
Position: Registered Nurse - Detox Administrator
Department : Medical Department
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Salary Range: $85,238.40 to $119,496.00. There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements).

Key Responsibilities: - Develop all required policies, protocols, and workflows necessary for licensing as an ASAM 3.7 Detox facility.
- Oversee operations within the detox program, ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Coordinate with physicians and CCMH Departments to deliver client-centered care.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor patient progress and intervene in medical emergencies when necessary
Position Requirements: - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of substance use treatment, behavioral health, or acute care settings is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Summary: The RN Detox Manager oversees the Medically Monitored (ASAM 3.7) Detox facility, managing daily operations, and ensuring high-quality patient care during the detoxification process. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, monitoring patient withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, maintaining compliance with facility and state regulations, and developing/updating all program policies and procedures in conjunction with Detox MD. The role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise in addiction and withdrawal management, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
