Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Hamilton, VA
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay: Up to $28/hour

Schedule & Contract DetailsShift: Day Shift
Hours per Day: 7.5
Contract Length: 27 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 0
Meal Break: 30 minutes
Provide 1:1 ABA-based behavioral support to a student in an intensive autism program.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Support communication, social, and academic skill-building.
Collect and document daily behavior and skill acquisition data.
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and safety strategies.
Maintain a consistent, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the supervising BCBA.
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (BACB) — mandatory
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR & First Aid Certification (preferred)
Crisis intervention training (CPI, Mandt, Handle With Care) (preferred)
Experience working with autism, ABA therapy, or special education (preferred)
Experience in school-based ABA settings
Strong documentation and data collection skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Patience, consistency, and professionalism
Ability to follow structured behavioral interventions
