Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Maintenance Technician ! This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment across the facility. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and skilled in preventative maintenance, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned areas.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Install or remove equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Respond to plant emergencies such as equipment malfunctions, Haz-Mat incidents, or severe weather situations.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Complete required maintenance documentation for all work orders and checklists.
• Assist with special projects or duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Basic welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must possess or be able to obtain tools necessary for the job.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred:

• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
