Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our growing event marketing company . This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations , community engagement , and communications . As part of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the public image of our organization and strengthening relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you’ll assist in the execution of strategic communications initiatives for our national clients , promoting events and corporate services . Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with senior management to ensure communication strategies align with company goals and objectives.
Organize Community Events: Serve as the company’s spokesperson, fostering engagement and raising brand awareness within the community.
Promote Company Services: Build relationships with customers and communicate the company’s services, acting as a liaison between the organization and the public.
Develop PR Strategies: Assist in creating community-based strategies and campaigns that enhance the company’s public relations efforts and increase brand visibility.
Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with consumers, community organizations, employees, and public interest groups.
Coach Client Representatives: Provide guidance and support to client representatives on effective communication with the public to enhance brand representation.
Analyze Company Needs: Help develop PR strategies that influence public opinion, align with promotional policies, and highlight the company’s services.
Maintain Brand Image: Ensure the company’s image and identity are upheld through strategic communications that resonate with target audiences.
Evaluate Market Trends: Collaborate with the Operations Director to assess market trends and evaluate advertising efforts to ensure alignment with PR strategies.
Preferred Experience: Previous experience in community relations , sales , or public relations is preferred but not required.
Relationship-Building: Ability to engage and build rapport with diverse audiences in the community.
Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a positive, professional demeanor.
