We are seeking a Wastewater Engineering Project Manager to help expand water/wastewater services for public and private sector clients. This role involves managing projects related to water and wastewater system improvements and infrastructure development. Responsibilities include overseeing design plans, writing specifications, conducting analyses, and collaborating directly with project owners.

You will lead active projects, mentor junior staff on design standards, plant layout, and regulatory requirements, and pursue new business opportunities. This position also offers opportunities to expand professional knowledge and engage in networking and client development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

  • Lead project teams in developing bid-ready plans and specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with required permitting regulations in Texas.

  • Execute design tasks for complex water/wastewater projects.

  • Author Engineering Design Reports and Permit Applications.

  • Provide support during construction, commissioning, and routine facility operations.

  • Conduct quality assurance and control reviews.

  • Identify and pursue client management and business development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.

  • 8+ years of experience in water resources engineering.

  • Experience working with public sector clients and engineering firms.

  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, lift stations, and conveyance systems.

  • Familiarity with water treatment plants, distribution systems, storage tanks, and groundwater wells.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities using sound professional judgement and innovation.
