Job DescriptionJob Description Highland Consulting Group, a executive recruiting firm specializing in top construction talent, is partnering with a well-established General Contractor in the Buffalo, NY area to find an experienced Project Manager . This permanent, full-time position involves managing ground-up and fit-out projects from award to closeout, with minimal travel required, as most projects are within a reasonable commute. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all phases of assigned construction projects. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Estimate, negotiate, and track change orders efficiently. Manage project budgets and approve all related expenses. Handle contract administration and subcontractor/equipment buyouts. Act as the primary liaison for project owners and stakeholders. Maintain detailed project records and oversee closeout documentation. Conduct punch-list inspections with superintendents and owners. Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing commercial and institutional construction projects of $5M+. Proven ability to develop timelines, manage budgets, and negotiate change orders. Strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to lead and coordinate multi-discipline team meetings effectively. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is but not required—strong industry experience will be highly considered.
