Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor pre-construction and estimating teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and enhanced performance.
  • Oversee and review final bidding processes, subcontractor and supplier pricing, and proposals for negotiated and hard-bid projects.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team on final estimates, budgets, and value engineering efforts, creating detailed cost models, budgets, spending forecasts, and schedules.
  • Generate competitive proposals for GMP contracts and present information effectively to subcontractors and team members.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial or railroad construction estimating.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience overseeing estimating/pre-construction teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with construction websites like Building Connected, Blue Book, and iSqFt is a plus.
