About the Role:

As a Professional Pet Sitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of pets while their owners are away. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive care, including feeding, walking, and engaging with pets to maintain their routine and comfort. You will also be responsible for monitoring their behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the pet owners promptly. Exceptional customer service will be essential, as you will be the point of contact for pet owners, providing updates and addressing any inquiries they may have. Ultimately, your goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment for pets, giving their owners peace of mind during their absence.

Priority given to people available weekdays mid day, Thursdays 7am-2pm, Saturdays and Sundays morning or night.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in pet care or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in pet first aid and CPR.
• Experience with a variety of pet breeds and behaviors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed.
• Monitor and document pet behavior and health, reporting any changes or concerns to the pet owners.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including cleaning up after them and ensuring their living spaces are tidy.
• Communicate regularly with pet owners, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners to ensure their pets' routines and preferences are respected.

Additionally, the ability to provide great customer service will enhance the overall experience for pet owners, as you will be their primary point of contact. Preferred skills, such as pet first aid certification, will further enhance your ability to respond to emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets in your care.
