Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) for a “Survey Manager” opening with a thriving and growing mid-sized firm located in the Fort Worth, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Management and oversight of all survey projects, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
2. Plan, organize, and direct work of survey parties, and related staff, engaged in surveying earth's surface and preparing reports and legal descriptions of the land.
3. Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as total stations, levels, and GPS, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
4. Develop and maintain working relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project needs and objectives are met.
5. Utilize CAD and GIS technologies to analyze data, compile detailed maps, and perform complex computations.
6. Review and certify completed survey work to meet statutory and company requirements.
7. Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to field survey crew and office technical staff.

Qualifications:

1. Must hold a current Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license.
2. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in land surveying and mapping
3. Strong knowledge of CAD and GIS systems and tools.
4. Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Knowledge of industry practices and legal regulations.
