The Podcast Producer is the driving force behind the success and growth of the BigDeal podcast, owning every aspect of its production and strategy.

We are a top 100 business podcast, your goal is to get us in the top 25.

This role requires a creative, organized, and growth-focused individual who can manage the podcast from concept to execution. The producer will focus on increasing audience engagement, crafting compelling content, and ensuring that each episode is polished, impactful, and aligned with the BigDeal vision.

This is not a siloed position. You will support and help drive results across all of our content channels, which is everything you would expect from a modern media startup.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the areas of podcast production, media, and content growth strategy
• Strong storytelling skills with a knack for crafting viral narratives through titles, questions, and framing
• Deep understanding of podcast trends, platforms, SEO, posting cadence, audience behavior, and content packaging
• Collaborative effort with editing team to provide feedback on long-form and create short-form clips
• Truly craves a startup environment where we are learning, iterating, and shipping things quickly
• A self-starter; you learn quickly, absorb like a sponge, and take action
• A problem-solver; uses frameworks to rigorously define and analyze problems, creating solutions
