Physician - Clinical Pediatric Intensivist Join our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute as we seek to hire two full-time Pediatric Intensivist to join City of Hope's Department of Pediatrics.For more information please visit here City of Hope - Children's Cancer Center . Primary Responsibilities: Full-time hours Annual shift requirement: 14 shifts per month (12-hour shifts) Shifts may range from 12-24 hours Primary clinical responsibility in the care of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients in the pediatric critical care unit. Primary clinical responsibility in the care of the pediatric inpatients on the pediatric floor at night, please note the intensivist will also be working as a pediatric nocturnist. Provide outpatient and inpatient sedation procedures for pediatrics. Teaching responsibilities, including developing and maintaining a Pediatric ICU Curriculum, training Pediatric-facing Registered Nurses, and creation of proctoring relationship with ICU providers related to procedures such as bronchoscopy and bronchoalveolar lavage. Attend pediatric division didactic conferences and meetings, as relevant.Support of in-house surgeons and interventional radiology Perform procedures for care of critically ill pediatric, adolescent and young adult patients Train in performing bronchoscopy for pediatric patients Participate in projects that increase quality of care for pediatric patient

PAY & BENEFITS

Base Salary Range: $220K - $350K( The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. • Early to mid-career candidate, with M.D. or D.O. from an accredited educational institution
• Fellowship trained and ABP board eligible/boarded in Pediatric Intensivist
