Tampa VA Healthcare System's Gastroenterology Service is seeking an experienced and dynamic Physician (Gastroenterology). Ideal applicants are those who want to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program. You must be an excellent communicator and team player who is adaptable to the needs of a growing medical center.

Duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

• The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at James A. Haley Veteran's Administration in Tampa, FL seeks candidates for Advanced endoscopy (EUS and ERCP preferred) and General Gastroenterology positions that are open due to recent retirements. Applicants must have an MD or DO degree who are board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting at the Veteran's Health Administration hospital who specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, motility, esophagology, hepatology, advanced endoscopy, and/or general gastroenterology.
• The clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients in clinic, inpatient setting as well as performing endoscopy at the VA hospital. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and Gastroenterology fellows with strong academic affiliation with University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
