Title: Part Time Wellness / Community Dietitian

Location: Touchette Regional Hospital in Cahokia Heights, IL

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our dynamic and compassionate healthcare team as a  Part Time Wellness / Community Dietitian at Touchette Regional Hospital in Cahokia Heights, IL.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help improve the nutritional health of the community of Cahokia Heights and surrounding areas. This role will assess the nutritional needs of the community and develop curriculum to address concerns. The role will create and prepare manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching.

This is a part time role and it's expected to work 16-24 hours per month.

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 to $32.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct nutrition-based programs and build relationships with external organizations.
• Assess the nutritional needs of the community and suggest resources on healthful diets that are easily accessible.
• Develop curriculum and prepare manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching.
• Assesses educational needs and the presence of barriers to learning
• Provides nutrition counseling for individuals and groups, taking into consideration any adaptations to teaching methods necessary to meet patient learning needs
• Evaluates achievement of learning objectives by the patient and/or family
• Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients? protected health information
• May provide inpatient and/or outpatient coverage, if needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's in Nutrition or a related field
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification
• Licensed Dietitian status in Illinois 
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Passion for improving patient health through high-quality nutrition care.
