Position: NDT Technician / Industrial Radiographer (Level II)

Location: New Waterford, Ohio (44445)

Pay: $28 - $35/hr (Based on experience) Eligible for first wage increase at initial review at 60 days.
Work Schedule: 40–50 hr/week, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays & night shift with differential pay)
Location: Based in Columbiana County, OH – home every night
Travel Requirements: Minimal (mostly local)
When Not Testing: General labor at parent company (Steelcon) if full-time hours not available at Amron

Job Description: Amron Testing, LLC. is looking to hire someone who holds a Level II certification in RT (Radiographic Testing) and MT (Magnetic Particle Testing).

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Perform inspection activity (RT, MT) on site and at field locations, ensuring compliance with applicable Codes/Standards and following necessary safety protocols.

2. Operate and utilize Computed Radiography (CR) systems

3. Interpret results and deliver clear digital reports to customers

4. Set up and calibrate radiographic equipment

5. Practice and promote strict radiation safety protocols

6. Maintain all related safety documentation

7. Support team culture and lead by example

8. Compile and maintain safety documentation.

9. Must be a strong, effective leader that promotes teamwork.

General Requirements:

2. Strong communication & professionalism

3. Good work attitude.

4. Physically able to walk/climb through piping and lift up to 50 pounds

5. Driver’s License with a clean record

6. Ability to pass:

a. Pre-employment/random drug and alcohol screenings

b. FBI/BCI background check

Education/Technical Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. At least 2 years of relevant NDT experience

3. 40-hour radiation safety training

4. IRRSP/State Radiographer Card Holder

5. Currently hold a Level II in RT and MT in accordance with SNT-TC-1A or have required experience and training hours (with proof) to obtain certification.

6. Experience in Computed Radiography (CR)

7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, Office, etc.)

8. Good grammar, spelling, and penmanship.

Beneficial Attributes:

2. Experience as a Radiation Safety Officer

3. Level II in Penetrant Testing (PT)

4. Level II in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

5. NAS-410 Level II RT/MT Certification

6. ASNT Level Certificate in Nondestructive Testing (any or all methods).
