Job Description
A soon to be family of four, with homes in Brooklyn Heights and Garrison, NY, needs to hire a highly experienced career Nanny. Primary care will be for their toddler for the first six months after baby arrives as they will have a Babynurse. The Nanny will then transition to caring for both children. The family is looking for a Nanny who can work seamlessly with the parents and is knowledgeable of all developmental milestones. Responsibilities include: meal prep and light housekeeping related to the children, helping with household/nursery/bedroom organization, keeping children's supplies stocked, planning enriching activities for their toddler and maintaining the children's routines including school pick-up etc. Candidates must be comfortable working alongside a full-time housekeeper, be dog friendly (care not required), be able to swim, be flexible to travel internationally (approx. twice a year), be Covid vaccinated and CPR certified. Ideal candidates will have experience caring for an infant and pre-school aged children in tandem. The family is open to live-out candidates, but would ideally like to find a Nanny who will be flexible to live-in starting 2025. Private accommodations provided in both homes for live-in candidates. The ability to drive is a plus, but not required. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30/8am to 6/7pm with flexibility. Salary range: $35-40/hr. base plus health insurance stipend.
