Join Omni Wound Physicians in Transforming Wound Care Services Omni Wound Physicians (OWP) is on an exciting journey of expansion, and we are looking for passionate Wound Care Medical Doctors (MDs) to enhance our mobile wound care services. Our dedicated team provides exceptional, specialized wound care directly to skilled nursing facilities, long-term care centers, and private residences, ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. Advanced Tools: Utilize efficient EHR systems and workflow-enhancing resources to improve patient care. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic and post-surgical wounds. Perform clinical procedures such as debridement, NPWT management, tissue biopsies, and care for gastrostomy tubes. Monitor patient healing progress and adjust treatments based on clinical outcomes. Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care and prevention. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Travel to multiple care sites across various locations to ensure quality patient care. Assist with optimizing workflows and training within the team. Qualifications & Experience: Required: MD or DO degree with an active medical license in Washington State. Board certification in a relevant specialty (Surgery preferred; OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine accepted). 3-6 years of clinical experience in wound care, geriatrics, or related specialties. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Reliable transportation and a valid Washington driver’s license. Preferred: Wound Care Certification (CWSP, CWS) or willingness to obtain within six months. Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health environments.
