JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a mature and optimistic individual who is seeking a busy, stable environment. This position is responsible for the overall managerial operations of a busy 5 provider specialist office. The Practice Administrator is responsible for leadership of personnel, revenue cycle, compliance and operating oversight, escalated patient care matters, and financial responsibility for the budget. This position will work in collaboration with our Centralized Business Office operations team to ensure physician and practice success.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have 5 years of physician office or facility Revenue Cycle experience including patient registration, insurance verification, authorization, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and denial management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience is required, preferably in a physician practice or outpatient clinical setting; experience in overseeing daily operations, staffing, patient workflows, and provider support is highly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of medical front office operations including reception/registration, surgery scheduling, determination of eligibility, referrals and prior authorizations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and Practice Consultant to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote provider visibility, patient acquisition, and referral growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel employees and patients
  • Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
  • NextGen experience is strongly preferred
  • Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of finance best practices and standards
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
