T HE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Manager, Visual Merchandising – Wellness will be responsible for developing and executing holistic visual merchandising strategies for the Wellness business across the Ulta Beauty store experience. In this role, you will act as the voice of the store experience for Wellness products and experiences, partnering closely with the Director of Visual Merchandising to ensure alignment with the overall visual merchandising approach, directives, and templates across the team. Your primary focus will be to create a consistent and elevated visual identity for Wellness, seamlessly integrating product presentation, graphic communication, guest desirability, and ease of shopping. This role will also be critically involved in developing new spaces for Ulta Beauty to bring Wellness to life.

You will collaborate with the broader Wellness team, Integrated Marketing, Merchandising, brand partners and more to translate business and brand strategies into visual merchandising programs that enhance the customer experience. Additionally, you will work closely with Creative, Merchants, Store Planning and Operations to ensure the smooth transition of concepts from development to production and successful store-level execution.

* PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies for Wellness, ensuring they align with overall store experience standards. Collaborate with the Director of Visual Merchandising to ensure synergy across all departments and the integration of Wellness into the broader store vision.
2. Collaborate with Merchants and Integrated Marketing teams to transform business and brand strategies into visually compelling merchandising concepts for the wellness category.
3. Partner with Ulta Beauty’s wellness brand to develop best-in-class visual merchandising expressions, reflecting the brand's identity while aligning with Ulta Beauty’s VM standards.
4. Oversee branded fixture development for wellness, ensuring each brand is presented in a compelling way while maintaining overall visual consistency across the department.
5. Collaborate on transition planning , working closely with Merchants, Creative Operations, and brand teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with Ulta Beauty’s overall objectives.
6. Develop clear visual merchandising directives for stores, ensuring that the objectives and guidelines are communicated effectively and that store teams have all the necessary information to execute visual programs as envisioned.
7. Maintain a forward-thinking approach by staying informed on upcoming strategies, anticipating design development needs, and continuously advancing the wellness guest experience.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in visual merchandising within corporate visual merchandising organizations with additional in-store or regional level experience preferred.
• Proficiency in visual merchandising and product merchandising techniques, with a strong focus on wellness products.
• In-depth knowledge of the interconnections between store fixtures, graphic communication, product merchandising, and store operations.
• Experience with prototypes and sample store setups in mock store environments, as well as working with suppliers on production requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence diverse teams and partners, ensuring alignment and smooth project execution.
• Excellent communication skills , both written and oral, to effectively convey project concepts, statuses, and standards to a wide range of partners.
• Proficiency in relevant software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and project management tools i.e. Monday.com.

: The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $117,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
