Job Title: DH - Machinist

Location: Carson City, NV 89706

Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 9 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Machinist to operate CNC and manual machines for precision part manufacturing. Responsible for setup, operation, maintenance, and quality inspection of produced parts, working under supervision of the Cell Supervisor/Work Leader.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC/manual machines (grinding, milling, etc.).
• Read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, pi tapes).
• Perform tool changes, adjust feeds/speeds, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Complete inspection documentation and maintain quality standards.
• Follow safety guidelines, good housekeeping, and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Trade school preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of manual machining experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, etc.).
• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.

Note: This position requires real manual machining experience.
