Description:
The Loan Title Clerk is responsible for managing all aspects of the title process for consumer and commercial loans. This includes ensuring timely and accurate lien perfection, coordinating with members, dealerships, financial institutions, and state agencies, and maintaining up-to-date records of title documentation. The Title Clerk plays a critical role in protecting the credit union’s interest in collateral by verifying that proper titling has been completed and that liens are perfected in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
Requirements:Experience: 1-4 years in loan or financial services, or customer service clerical settings preferred.
Education: A high school education or equivalent.
