Position: EDI Analyst / IT Specialist

LHH is partnering with a confidential, well-established organization to find a skilled EDI Analyst / IT Specialist for an on-site role based in Portland, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity for a technically adept professional to support and enhance EDI operations while contributing to broader IT initiatives.

About the Role

This hybrid role combines EDI integration management with general IT support. The successful candidate will ensure smooth electronic data interchange with trading partners, troubleshoot data flow issues, and assist with internal IT projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and maintain system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EDI integrations and ensure accurate data exchange with partners.
• Troubleshoot EDI transactions and maintain compliance with standards (X12, EDIFACT).
• Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement EDI specifications.
• Onboard new trading partners and configure data mappings.
• Develop and maintain error reporting and data validation tools.
• Provide IT support including ticket resolution, reporting, and light development tasks.
• Monitor system performance and contribute to process improvements.

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols (X12, EDIFACT).
• Experience with EDI platforms (e.g., TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Rithum).
• Familiarity with FTP, SFTP, and AS2 file transfer methods.
• Proficiency in SQL and basic Python scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Finance & Supply Chain).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and CSV/XML data formats.
