Job Summary
Join our team to support Xcel's pLTE project by configuring Nokia RAN components, maintaining deployment models, and ensuring installations meet defined requirements. Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting hardware and network interfaces, conduct cellular spectrum drive testing, manage OpCo specific inventory, and assist with utilizing Xcel's pLTE lab environment. Collaborate with customers to identify IT solutions for complex applications/projects and manage technology assets effectively.
Responsibilities
Configure Nokia RAN components including BTS and cell site routers for Xcel's pLTE project.
Maintain deployment models and ensure installations meet defined requirements.
Provide technical knowledge and oversight for troubleshooting hardware and network interfaces.
Conduct cellular spectrum drive testing post successful site testing completion.
Manage OpCo specific inventory and support internal business units in utilizing Xcel's pLTE lab environment.
Assist with site support as needed, including internal employees and vendor access.
Collaborate with customers to identify IT solutions for complex applications/projects.
Skills
Strong understanding of Nokia RAN components configuration.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and network interfaces.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers effectively.
Ability to manage OpCo specific inventory efficiently.
Experience in conducting cellular spectrum drive testing is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
Certification in Nokia RAN components configuration is a plus.
