Job Description

Position: Interventional Radiology Tech

Shift: Day shift (4x10)

Time: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekly Hours: 40 Hrs

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Pay Range: $75/hr - $80/hr

Location: Paramus, NJ 07652

Responsibilities:

• Checking the imaging equipment to make sure it’s functioning properly and safe to use.
• Troubleshooting and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate staff.
• Keeping the imaging room and equipment sterile and clean.
• Following protocols to minimize radiation exposure, particularly in patients who may need repeated imaging (e.g., children, pregnant women).
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed, such as lead aprons, to shield parts of the body from unnecessary radiation.
• Taking proper precautions to ensure the patient’s well-being during the procedure.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience required as an Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• NJ State Radiography License.
• COVID Card.
