MountainStar Children's Services is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist at Timpanogos Regional Hospital.
Qualified Candidates:
- Two physician practice providing care to pediatric patients in the combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU
- Occasional tele-consultation with satellite pediatric inpatient unit in Ogden, UT
- 24/7 split coverage of both units with rounding in the morning and call from home after business hours
- Cover an average daily census of 4-6 combined PICU/pediatric patients
- Also responsible for outpatient sedations, mostly for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week
- Work closely with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, craniofacial/plastic surgery, otolaryngology and interventional radiology
- Comprehensive pediatric programs with nutrition, child life, case management, and administration support
- Hospital includes robust Level III NICU
