About the Role

Charta Global is seeking an In-House Senior Corporate Counsel who will be pivotal to the company’s growth and transformation. As our legal expert, you will oversee all legal matters, providing strategic counsel to drive Charta’s mission forward while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Your guidance will help protect our business, manage risks, and ensure we stay at the forefront of industry standards

What You’ll Do :

• Empower Leadership : Advise senior management on legal rights and obligations, shaping decisions that influence the company’s trajectory.
• Be a Strategic Partner : Collaborate across departments, providing legal counsel on innovative business strategies, mergers, acquisitions, and other transformative initiatives.
• Shape Business Outcomes : Lead negotiations, draft agreements, and structure partnerships that set the foundation for our continued success.
• Defend Our Vision : Manage litigation, mitigate risks, and protect Charta’s interests while championing ethical and sustainable practices.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep the company informed on evolving legal trends, laws, and regulations, ensuring our business practices remain cutting-edge.

What You Bring :

• A Legal Powerhouse : A J.D. or LL.B. and a license to practice in California, with at least four years of relevant legal experience. You’re well-versed in state, federal, and international laws, and bring strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to the table.
• A Strategic Thinker : Capable of anticipating legal challenges and devising innovative solutions. You approach complex problems with agility and insight.
• A Team Player : Able to work seamlessly across multiple functions, engaging with all levels of the organization, customers, and stakeholders.
• An Advocate for Integrity : Committed to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest ethical standards in everything you do.
