\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Expected to work holidays as part of permanent staff rotation
\n• First to float to Telemetry and Emergency Room for ICU holds
\n• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
\n• Minimum 3 years ICU experience required (2+ years accepted from large institutions)
\n• Prior travel experience preferred
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Work with Cerner PowerChart EMR system
\n• Manage ventilators and various drips including vasopressors, nitro, and heparin
\n• Care for cardiac, sepsis, stroke, and general medical-surgical ICU patients
\n• One day ICU orientation plus one shift on telemetry/stepdown unit
\n• No self-scheduling available
\n• BSN not required
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Focus on patient satisfaction with emphasis on skilled, competent, and compassionate care

\nThis healthcare facility operates a 44-bed licensed ICU (currently utilizing 36 beds) with comprehensive critical care services. The facility maintains 24/7 intensivist coverage through Sound Physician group, along with round-the-clock respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The ICU features advanced monitoring capabilities with 44 hardwired GE monitors and provides care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, and post-surgical patients. The facility emphasizes high-quality patient care and maintains modern equipment to support complex critical care needs.
