Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Director to build and lead Human Resources across MTNP and its portfolio of companies. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for developing scalable HR frameworks while adapting them to the unique needs of the company. The HR Director will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, help shape organizational culture, and ensure compliance and operational excellence across a fast-moving, entrepreneurial portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
    • Serve as a key advisor on culture, engagement, and change management.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development
    • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
    • Build programs for employee development, training, and career pathing.
    • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Employee Relations
    • Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace environment.
    • Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • Oversee competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.
    • Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
    • Partner with finance on budget planning and workforce costs.
  • HR Operations
    • Lead HR team and manage HR systems, processes, and data integrity.
    • Establish metrics to track HR effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
    • Ensure accurate, timely HR reporting for leadership.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in a startup, private equity, venture studio, or multi-entity organization is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a plus.
