The Chandler site operates with a collaborative and inclusive team approach, where HR plays a vital role in supporting daily operations and driving engagement on the floor.

In this role, you’ll work closely with site leadership, third-party recruiters, and employees across departments. You’ll help coordinate everything from onboarding and recognition events to safety programs and recruiting support.

While this is a temporary role, there is real potential for it to become permanent after 1–2 months for the right candidate.

Schedule & Pay

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Pay: $28–$32/hr (depending on experience)

Job Duties

• Partner with third-party recruiting firm and internal HR team to fill hourly job openings
• Assist with interviewing hourly candidates as needed
• Help organize employee engagement events and celebrations
• Support employees with UKG app issues and questions
• Collaborate with site manager and trainer on safety programs and safety committee activities
• Ensure LOA requests are submitted to the appropriate department
• Respond to routine policy and benefits inquiries, escalating exceptions to HR Directors
• Submit weekly headcount and turnover reports
• Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and benefits enrollment

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in HR or as an HR Assistant (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all areas
• Comfortable using computers for data input and systems navigation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
