Responsibilities :

\n
• Cleans and sanitizes patients' rooms and bathrooms daily.
\n
• Disposes of trash and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures.
\n
• Moves furniture and other fixtures to dust and mop floor, resets furniture to present an attractive environment for patients and visitors.
\n
• Washes walls behind sinks and commodes.
\n
• Cleans and disinfects isolation rooms adhering to proper policy and procedures.
\n
• Cleans and disinfects ancillary areas. (Utility and linen rooms, nurse's stations, lounges, etc.). 
\n
• Cleans and disinfects water fountains, sinks in hallways, telephones, and chair rails. 
\n
• Vacuums carpets and damp dusts furniture weekly in office areas.
\n
• Empties trash and uses hand sweeper on carpets daily.
\n
• Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
\n

Schedule : Rotating days (including weekends and holidays), Sunday-Saturday, 3pm - 11pm. This opportunity will mainly clean in the discharge beds. May be pulled to other areas/shifts/days at the needs of the Hospital.
