H.I.G. Capital Private Equity - Associate

H.I.G. Capital is seeking Associates for its US-based Private Equity Funds in New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Miami. The Associate program lasts two years, with high-performing individuals often receiving opportunities to extend their tenure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research using platforms such as Salesforce, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and Factset.
• Support the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and financing of transactions.
• Execute company-specific analyses, including customer cohort analyses, revenue waterfalls, and financial performance bridges.
• Perform valuation and modeling of potential investment opportunities with complex financial models.
• Prepare detailed investment committee memoranda.
• Manage ongoing work related to existing investments.

Required Experience

• 2-3 years at a top-tier investment bank or consulting firm by the time of joining H.I.G.
• Strong analytical skills for executing various industry and business-specific analyses.
• Ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
• Expert-level knowledge in Salesforce, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and Factset preferred.

Qualifications

• Superior academic achievement with a bachelors degree in data science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $125k-$150k base + bonus.
