Job Description

Cedar Park Group is now hiring Senior Machine Operators and Machine Operators for projects across New York State. Travel is required.

We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious operators to join our team. Candidates should be experienced with heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and bulldozers and ready to work in various environments and project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate skid steer loaders, mini excavators, and bulldozers on various job sites
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup as required
• Conduct routine pre-operation inspections and report any equipment issues
• Move in and out of equipment to help crew as needed
  
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Read and interpret site plans or instructions from supervisors
• Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of assigned equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and bulldozers
  
• Strong knowledge of equipment operation and site safety procedures
• Willingness to travel to various job sites, including overnight stays as required
  
• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
  
• High attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work
  
• Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
  
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
• Experience working on residential or commercial construction sites
• Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
