Job Description

Under general supervision of the District nurse and administration to provide a variety of specialized health care services for students who are health impaired and/or have specialized health care needs to administer first aid to students and staff members; to maintain health service information and records; and to do related work as required.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• APPLICATION DEADLINE: December 2, 2025 - 4:00 p.m.
• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Calendar
• WORK SCHEDULE: 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 11:05 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Experience working with children in a health education setting; equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, preferably supplemented by courses in child health, first aid, or related field; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Willing to take additional training to treat specific medical conditions to permit students to effectively participate in instruction.
• REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Current hands-on First Aid/CPR Certificate, possession of a valid California Driver's License.
• REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF):
