Job Description

We are seeking a driven, committed, and dynamic General Manager / Operations Director who is ready to take full charge of company operations, drive growth, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence. Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
  • Lead and inspire our team, fostering a sense of urgency, accountability, and passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve operational and financial issues swiftly and decisively.
  • Manage financial resources diligently, actively participating in budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, construction, administration, and subcontractors to streamline project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Handle crisis management confidently, ensuring the organization quickly adapts and responds effectively.
  • Set clear operational objectives and performance metrics, regularly reporting progress directly to the business owner.
  • Implement and manage processes, systems, and software (e.g., CRM, project management platforms) to improve productivity and operational clarity.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage team members, developing their skills and aligning their efforts with company goals.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience (minimum 5 years) in operations management, general management, or related role.
  • Previous experience in the construction, remodeling, or closely related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver results regardless of external conditions (weather, financial constraints, etc.).
  • Strong financial acumen, capable of understanding budgets, cash flow management, and financial strategy.
  • High-level proficiency in business software (Buildertrend, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and clearly articulating strategic goals.
  • Must be highly reliable, committed, and available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
