Direct message the job poster from InterSystems Technical Specialist – Internal Applications & Platform Engineering: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Specialist to join our internal applications and platform engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting critical business systems used globally, including CRM enhancements, mobile app development, AI feature integration, and database management. The position requires a blend of full-stack engineering, platform reliability, and cross-functional collaboration. This hands-on role emphasizes TypeScript , Python , and InterSystems IRIS database work. You will collaborate with our platform and Sales Tech teams to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable tools that enhance sales productivity and streamline business workflows. Key Responsibilities: 1. Application Development & Support Develop, optimize, and maintain internal web applications using TypeScript , including dashboards and CRM tools. Contribute to backend logic and automation using Python . Design and maintain system integrations via RESTful APIs and automate data synchronization. Ensure scalable architecture, robust monitoring, and secure deployments in collaboration with the platform team. Build and maintain mobile apps to extend internal tool functionality. Lead packaging, testing, and deployment of mobile apps to app stores. 2. AI & Workflow Automation Prototype and implement AI-powered features, including natural language processing , retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) , and smart suggestions. Integrate vendor-led pilots and beta tools into workflows. 3. Database Management & Admin Maintain and optimize InterSystems IRIS schemas for performance and reliability. Support ETL workflows, data integrity, and reporting pipelines. Assist with access management, query tuning, and documentation. 4. Collaboration & Operations Work cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical solutions. Respond to support requests, analyze root causes, and implement fixes. Contribute to documentation, system diagrams, and knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications: Proficiency in TypeScript and Python . Understanding of REST APIs , JSON, and authentication protocols. Experience with databases like IRIS or PostgreSQL, including query optimization. Familiarity with mobile app frameworks such as React Native or native development. Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 2+ years in full-stack or platform engineering roles. Experience deploying mobile apps to app stores. Knowledge of AI/ML, especially NLP or retrieval techniques. Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
