The Front Desk Agent plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience and ensuring that the hotel operates smoothly and efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests and owners, the front desk team provides top-tier service while overseeing daily operations. What you will be doing:
• Ensuring high standards of guest service, professionalism, and communication.
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest billing.
• Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest experience.
• Utilize hotel management software to manage reservations, track guest preferences, and ensure all billing is accurate and up to date.
• As the hotel undergoes enhancements, act as a key ambassador for the transformation, helping to communicate changes and improvements to guests and owners.
What we are looking for
BILINGUAL English & Spanish:
• Proven experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with experience as a Front Desk Agent
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage and resolve guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and grace.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., Springer Miller SMS Host PMS).
• Flexible and adaptable to changes, especially in a dynamic environment undergoing renovations.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
