Job Description
Scope of Job: Directs, manages, and optimizes a plant or production facility's overall operations and financial performance (P&L). Sets policies and procedures that guide plant operations' productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Systematically collects operational metrics to analyze productivity and set performance targets to meet revenue and cost goals. Supports the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement. Ensures robust plant safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures are implemented to meet OSHA and other required regulations. Oversees multi-functional plant teams including finance, engineering, materials, quality assurance, and human resources. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management. Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial or other Engineering discipline preferred. MBA or advanced Supply Chain or International Business also preferred.
Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in Operations Management. 5 years of experience in Engineering or Technical Manager. 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Activity Management.

Physical Requirements: Requires prolonged sitting and continuous use of computer. May lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lbs.
