We are seeking an Excess Underwriter to join our National Accounts team specializing in Large Commercial Auto Insurance. This role offers the chance to further develop your analytical skills, while working closely with industry experts to evaluate and manage excess limits for a wide range of commercial auto risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite excess limits for large commercial auto and captive accounts.
Analyze risk factors, financials, and claims history to assess and price policies.
Calculate premiums and policy limits using mathematical.
Develop deep insurance industry knowledge and stay up to date with industry trends, regulations and market conditions affecting commercial auto.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
Knowledge of truck coverages and motor carrier operations requiring insurance coverage is preferred.
Ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple tasks.
