Job Description

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire role with a Mechanical Engineering team at a manufacturing company specializing in industrial automation and process machinery.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure quality production
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and track PM schedules for process machinery
• Perform unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks as needed
• Conduct machine upgrades and testing
• Work with Engineering and Production to implement maintenance logs, best practices, and operator-led maintenance tasks
• Identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine standard maintenance procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a maintenance tech
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Basic math and computer skills (email, Google suite, Microsoft)
• Advanced hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude
• Familiarity with industrial automation and factory equipment
• Curious and eager to learn new processes and systems
• Takes direction well with excellent attention to detail
• Safety-conscious and deadline-oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged computer use, sitting, and standing
• Exposure to machinery noise, forklifts, and injection presses
• Strong hand use and ability to handle high-impact tools
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels
• Ability to walk for long periods
