Position overview:

You will improve patient care through assisting with Epic implementations and targeted consulting initiatives, driving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and transforming organizations for a lasting, positive impact.

Responsibilities: Position overview:

• Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications
• Configure application settings and validate configurations performed by Application Analysts
• Define go live and rollout support schedule 
• Assist in the coordination of field support activities 
• Provide go-live and rollout support
• Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
• Oversee analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification
• Provide advanced application troubleshooting support for the application(s)
• Resolve critical issues independently as necessary 
• Forward issues to the correct group for remediation or elevate it to the vendor if required
• Review Application Analysts resolutions and solutions for accuracy and completeness
• Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users

Requirements:

• Must be Epic Cupid Certified
• Prior Epic Cupid build experience
• Knowledge of the workflow associated with Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology (including Chat and EP Lab workflows)
• Willing to learn and work on other Cardiology systems supported by the team
• Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, vendors peers and management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• EPIC Data Courier knowledge

Desired:

• Experience with any of the following is preferred: Apollo, ISCV, Xcelera, PedCath, PaceArt, Client MacLab/CardioLab, MUSE, CBORD and Medstreaming
• Understanding of DICOM, HL7, IHE and other health related standards
