Urban Design Studio is a leading landscape architecture and planning firm with over 48 years of experience specializing in planning and designing development projects for developers across South Florida. Located in downtown West Palm Beach, we focus on residential, commercial, medical, industrial, and large-scale redevelopment projects, as well as master-planning communities from northern Broward County to Indian River County.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Landscape Architect to join our in-office team. This position offers the opportunity to work on development projects that shape communities. You will gain hands-on experience in the design process, government approvals, economic considerations, construction phases, and community engagement, providing a solid foundation in landscape architecture and urban planning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior landscape architects and urban planners on projects for developers and government entities.
• Contribute to the development of site plans, master plans, and landscape designs for diverse projects.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and visualizations for client presentations and public meetings.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, feasibility studies, and code-compliance materials for agency submissions.
• Participate in community outreach and stakeholder engagement to gather feedback and address concerns.
• Attend site visits and assist with construction observations, learning the design-to-construction process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite; experience with GIS or 3D rendering is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
• Eagerness to work in a team-oriented, in-office environment.
• Attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and a passion for planning impactful development projects.
