Emergency Veterinarian needed at our hospital North of\nPittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Swing shifts, with no overnights

Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency Center is a large\ngroup practice located in Butler, PA, which is less than 1 hour north of\nPittsburgh. We are able to enjoy various sports teams, 4 seasons and low cost\nof living. We are a busy clinic with over 50 employees and 10 doctors that\nprovide general practice services as well as emergency services.

We are in search of an emergency doctor who wants to receive\nmany challenging cases that will keep your diagnostic, medical and surgical\nskills sharp. Although we are not open 24 hours, we do provide hospital care\nthrough the night with a technician, and our doctors usually work our 2-10PM\nshift. We value work/life balance and therefore we rotate weekends and work no\nmore than 32 scheduled hours per week. There would be no on call duties and we\noffer a lot of flexibility and mentoring. Our ER department is very busy, and\nwe are looking for a dedicated ER doctor to help contribute to our team.

• Relationship with local referral\ncenter for consults.

• Ultrasound.

• Full in-house lab.

• Digital X-Ray.

• Full dental suite with digital\nx-ray- double suite.

• Force Triad surgical cautery.

• Steam & Gas sterilization.

• Double surgery suite.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $120,000 - $135,000

Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college\nor have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE\ncertification. License in good standing to practice in Pennsylvania.
