Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement a data-driven talent acquisition strategy to meet current and future hiring needs.
  • Establish short- and long-term goals for the talent acquisition team to support business objectives and organizational growth.
  • Design innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns to attract top talent.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the talent acquisition team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and training to recruiters and hiring managers to ensure consistency and excellence in recruitment processes.
  • Drive accountability through clear metrics, goals, and regular performance evaluations.

Candidate Experience

  • Champion a best-in-class candidate experience from application to onboarding.
  • Oversee the development of candidate communication strategies that reflect Royal Ambulance’s values and mission.
  • Regularly gather and act on candidate feedback to refine and enhance the hiring process.

Employer Branding

  • Collaborate with marketing and HR to strengthen Royal Ambulance’s employer brand, showcasing the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and promote initiatives that highlight the company’s culture, values, and career growth opportunities.
  • Leverage social media, job boards, and professional networks to amplify brand presence and attract top talent.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage recruitment technology platforms such as Lever (ATS) and other tools to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track recruiting success, including but not limited to time-to-fill, conversion rates, and funnel metrics.
  • Streamline and continuously improve the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to understand workforce needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with HR leadership to align recruitment efforts with overall talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executives on labor market trends and hiring best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful recruitment strategies in high-growth or healthcare environments.
  • Expertise in applicant tracking systems (Lever preferred) and other recruiting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and measure success.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across all organizational levels.
