Job Description

Looking for a hands-on Director of Distribution to lead operations at our distribution center. This role oversees all aspects of warehouse performance—from safety and staffing to productivity and cost control—and reports directly to executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily DC operations, including inbound/outbound logistics and inventory accuracy
• Monitor KPIs, drive process improvement (5S, Lean, Six Sigma), and manage P&L
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA), SOPs, and service-level expectations
• Oversee performance, coaching, and development of management-level staff
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Customer Service, and 3PLs

Ideal Background:

• 5–8 years in senior leadership within a high-volume distribution center
• Proven experience driving operational efficiency and leading large teams
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capability
• Working knowledge of WMS, MS Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or business

Ability to develop teams through strong relationships with internal functions and developing direct reports through mentorship and growth opportunities

• Ability to motivate self and others while establishing an appropriate level of sense of urgency to meet business objectives

• Maintains a positive outlook during high volume periods under demanding conditions

• Results driven tactical leader with a strategic mindset

• Acts with integrity and establishes trust, credibility, and rapport with internal and external partners

• Serves as a change agent in a continuous improvement-oriented environment
