Idaho Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as a Dental Hygienist in our Meridian office!

Location:

Meridian – 3839 E Amity Rd, Meridian, ID 83642

Office Hours (part time):

Rotating weekly schedule - Monday/Tuesday, Wednseday/Thursday the following week
One Friday per month (8:00am-2:00pm)
Responsibilities:
Maintaining patient medical records, updating patient medical history, and vital signs as needed.
Conducting complete patient X-ray procedures, including taking, developing, and storing X-Rays as necessary.
Completing periodontal charting as directed.
Preparing tools and equipment necessary for the Provider and assisting the Provider with exams as necessary.
Performing preventative periodontal care on patients, including scaling, prophylaxis, root planning, and the application of preventative agents and sealants.
Administering local anesthesia as necessary.
Working in tandem with the doctors to carry one column of restorative work each day.
Educate patients on the importance of dental hygiene.
Qualifications:
One (1) or more years of practical experience as a dental hygienist.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
License (pending or active) issued by the State Board.
Completion of a CODA-accredited dental hygienist program.
Experience with medical imaging techniques, such as intraoral and extraoral x-rays.
Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
