Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. They must also have completed DCFS fingerprinting and are familiar with the Gateways registry system. 

Responsibilities 

• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
• Be able to write effective observations
• Change diapers, clean, and sanitize classroom
• Food handler certified is a plus

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• First aid/CPR certified
