This role offers an exciting opportunity to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights that directly support federal agency operations. The Data Analyst will work with large-scale data, validate financial models, and create interactive dashboards to inform decision-making. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate across teams, ensure data quality and compliance, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment where your analytical expertise will have a direct impact on operational success and continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Validate financial models, charts, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure high-quality input for analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data governance, quality management, and reporting initiatives.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on financial monitoring products and reports to maintain data integrity.
• Prepare clear documentation of methodologies, findings, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in data analysis to enhance capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience, preferably in the public sector or federal government environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, able to present complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; willingness to obtain a security clearance.
