As a Customer Success Manager – CPG Sales , you'll play a critical role in driving our retail success by managing product setups, pricing, and promotional programs across a range of distributor and retailer portals (including UNFI, KeHE, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Kroger, and others). You'll act as the operational backbone between internal teams and external partners—ensuring our brand shows up with integrity, accuracy, and impact at shelf and online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portal Setup & Maintenance: Manage product onboarding, pricing updates, pack changes, and promotional program submissions across key retailer and distributor portals.
  • Promotional Execution: Coordinate the implementation of national and account-specific promotional programs, ensuring alignment with trade calendars and promotional goals.
  • Retail Partner Management: Serve as a key point of contact for retailer and distributor partner teams, ensuring accurate and timely execution of initiatives.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, trade, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure product readiness, promotional alignment, and data integrity.
  • Content Accuracy: Ensure accurate and optimized product content—descriptions, attributes, certifications (Non-GMO, USDA Organic, etc.), and images—are reflected on all platforms.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor trade performance and execution, flag issues proactively, and support retailer scorecard improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Keep abreast of evolving retailer and distributor requirements, natural channel nuances, and compliance guidelines to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG account management, sales operations, or customer success—ideally in the natural foods or wellness category.
  • Experience with retailer/distributor portals like UNFI Supplier Portal, KeHE CONNECT, Whole Foods Supplier Hub, and others.
  • Familiarity with trade promotion calendars, distributor programs (e.g., MCBs, new item forms), and promotional execution at natural/specialty retail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and productivity tools
  • Bonus: Experience working with syndicated data tools (SPINS)
