Job Description

• Concrete Finishers smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. They patch voids and use saws to cut expansion joints. Concrete finishers will also perform carpentry work.
• Requirements:  Ability to understand directions and read/interpret blueprints.  Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.  Must have a strong knowledge of building and construction materials and methods involved in the construction process.  Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.  Must know how to select the right tools and equipment to do the job.  Thorough understanding of construction principles and methods. Demonstrate and maintain a strong focus on safety.
• Starting base wage: $30.60/hour plus fringe.
