At Dexter, you’ll power the supply chain behind trailers and components that keep industries moving. From our Odessa, TX distribution center, you’ll run dedicated customer routes in an automatic International day cab with a flatbed, delivering the products our customers rely on.

What success looks like

You start your shift with a pre-trip inspection, review your load plan, and make sure your cargo is properly secured and tarped. On the road, you anticipate traffic patterns, communicate with dispatch, and keep meticulous records. If an issue arises, you follow established procedures and keep safety at the forefront.

Core responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer (day cab) on dedicated local routes , with occasional intercity or multi-state runs.
• Deliver trailers and trailer products; secure and tarp loads as required.
• Record the amount and type of cargo; maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Report incidents to dispatch; monitor road and weather conditions continuously.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Complete thorough pre- and post-trip inspections; document defects.
• Follow accident procedures and report serious mechanical issues promptly.
• Manage hours-of-service and take required rest periods.

Bring these qualifications

• 21+ years old with a valid Class A CDL
• 1+ year of commercial driving, including manual transmission experience
• Flatbed experience preferred
• Clean driving record; no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Knowledge of DOT rules and trucking regulations

Required credentials

• DOT Medical Card
• Current CDL License
